LA Travel Diary

Happy spring everyone! I went to California for my spring break to visit my sister Emily and it was just a blast. I was there for 9 days and we packed a bunch of fun things into the trip like an LA day , Joshua Tree, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, and Palm Springs….. and more. I put together in this post a roundup of the things we did in LA.  My sister Emily was our tour guide and she definitely knows her way around. If you are going to spend a day in LA, you need to plan it out, and conquer it. 😉

So we did some typical LA type stuff like get acai bowls,  take pics in front of wall murals, and go to the LACMA museum with all the lamp posts. It was such a fun day of exploring LA and taking a bunch of cutie pics ;). That is what you do, right?

The first thing we set out to do was… eat, coffee, then explore. We wanted to get really good acai bowls so we went on a mission to find a good place. The place we went to was called Rawberri, in West Hollywood, THE CUTEST PLACE EVER. I would rate the aesthetic and cuteness of the place a 10/10 and the actual acai bowl itself a 6/10. It was good but not full of flavor and sweetness like I like them. Some other good acai bowl places in LA are Backyard Bowls, Juice Crafters, and EarthBar!

Since I am obsessed with coffee (@julesandhercoffee) *plug*, I had a list of coffee shops I wanted to visit and there are SO MANY places to go with such good coffee. We went to Carrera Cafe, which is adorable and has the best latte art! Definitely go if you are in the area or traveling to LA soon. Outside the cafe they had the LA LA Land wall and the pink wall, which are always fun to take pics in front of 😉
